Basic science research: study of markers of blood vessel identity during vein graft adaptation; MRI analysis of carotid angioplasty; effects of laminar and turbulent blood flow in vivo; effects of aging on vein graft adaptation; bioengineering a “better” blood vessel. Our laboratory is part of Yale's Interdisciplinary Program in Vascular Biology and Therapeutics.
Clinical research: clinical outcomes research, especially in veterans undergoing vascular surgery; clinical trials; OVER trial; endovascular research
