Yale Head and Neck Program

At the Yale Head and Neck Program at Smilow Cancer Hospital, our multidisciplinary team is committed to treating, curing, and improving the lives of patients with head and neck cancers, including cancers of the throat, larynx, nose, sinuses, and mouth. Our goal is to provide the best possible outcome for each and every patient. We collaborate with other world-class surgeons and specialists within Yale to create a personalized, comprehensive treatment plan that focuses on each patient’s unique needs and condition.

We understand the importance of treating cancer with a curative goal while doing everything possible to preserve the delicate and critical structures of the face, head, and neck that are responsible for swallowing, breathing, speaking, facial expressions, and hearing. Our surgeons have extensive experience at performing the most sophisticated and minimally invasive surgical techniques to remove the cancer without interfering with these delicate structures while allowing patients to recover more quickly and with less postoperative discomfort.
