-Radial artery and vein will lie along the ulnar side of the FCR.
-Bone: retract brachioradialis radially, radial nerve retracted, periosteum lies underneath and is incised longitudinally to desired length. Ulnar side of the FCR is then retracted to expose the FPL and pronator quadratus. These muscle bellies are divided close to the bone and the bone is identified and the periosteum incised. Bone cuts are made with a saw. Intermuscular septum is included with the bone.
