Clinical Interests: Surgery for benign and malignant disease of the liver, bile duct and pancreas. Surgery for gastric and esophageal cancer, sarcoma. Minimally invasive surgery (robotic and laparoscopic) for cancer.
Research Interests: Effects of angiogenesis on gastrointestinal malignancy. Investigation of gene silencing techniques to knockdown proliferation of hepatocellular carcinoma in vitro and in vivo. Determination of the diagnostic and therapeutic utility of angiogenic inhibitors for treatment of solid tumors. Clinical outcomes in surgery for sarcoma, hepatobiliary, gastric and esophageal malignancy.
